A San Jose woman was arrested for prostitution Monday after police say she offered sex for money at a San Carlos nail salon.
Officers reported contacting 49-year-old Jenny Tran where she was employed, at Jessica Paris Nails Care at 1575 Laurel Street, after having received a report of massages being offered at the business in violation of a use permit, according to the San Carlos Police Department.
An undercover officer entering the business was offered a sex act in exchange for money, according to police, who subsequently arrested Tran for prostitution and possession of a significant amount of cocaine.
Tran was booked into the San Mateo County Jail with a bail set at $10,000, according to police.
