A 16-year-old boy has died from injuries suffered in a crash Friday afternoon in Antioch, police said Saturday.
The boy was a passenger in a pickup truck headed westbound on Reimche Drive near Desrys Boulevard, where the vehicle rolled about 4:45 p.m.
The boy was ejected in the crash and was taken to a trauma center with life-threatening injuries.
Two other people in the vehicle were also taken to a hospital, with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The pickup was traveling well above the speed limit when it rolled, police said.
The driver of the pickup, a 19-year-old Antioch resident, was cooperating with investigators.
Alcohol and drugs don't appear to be a factor in the crash, authorities said.
