Two Suspects Connected to Killing of San Jose Man on Thanksgiving Day 2017

San Jose police have connected two suspects to the killing of a 41-year-old man on Thanksgiving Day 2017, police said Tuesday.

Billy Ray Scott, a San Jose man known as "Tank," was found dead in a ravine in a rural area of Santa Clara County after police began an investigation in January regarding his suspicious disappearance, according to police.

Officers located a crime scene in the 1500 block of Moorpark Avenue in San Jose following an investigation, police said.

Scott was likely killed inside an apartment and taken to the ravine to be discarded, according to police.

Renee Wilson, 44, of San Jose, was arrested in Los Banos on July 24 and booked into Santa Clara County jail on suspicion of being an accessory to murder.

Police also obtained an arrest warrant for Eugene Frazier, 44 of San Jose, on suspicion of murder.

Frazier is currently in Monterey County jail for unrelated offenses of attempted murder, kidnapping, torture, aggravated mayhem and possession of

controlled substances with bail set at $3.65 million, according to Monterey County jail records.
