Police are asking for the public’s help in the case of a suspected peeping tom in a Santa Cruz neighborhood.
A female UC Santa Cruz student says she saw a man look through her patio window, open it, and reach inside Tuesday night. When she screamed and pointed a flashlight at him, he tried the patio's sliding glass door, which was locked.
Police say the woman ran outside, confronted the man and snapped some photos with her cellphone.
The suspect is described as a white male adult, 30-40 years old, 6’1”, medium build with dark brown hair and a goatee.
This is the latest in a series of peeping tom reports in the area. Similar cases have been reported in the areas of Palo Verde Terrace, Peach Terrace and Castillion Terrace. It is unknown if the incidents are connected.
