What You're Doing Tonight, June 10

A night of big hats, staying Qool and finding FURY

BEACH BLANKET BABYLON: Check out the never-boring spoof of pop culture filled with extravagant costumes -- from top to bottom -- and whimiscal music. The longest musical revue in theater history is waiting for you at Club Fugazi. Show starts at 8 p.m.

STAY QOOL: They say it's the original clubbing happy hour in San Francisco. The continuously running dance music event Qool features mostly electronic music, and showcases talent from bedroom DJs to international "supastars." Head to the Minna Gallery  from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.  It's only $5 to get in and most of the money goes to non-profits.

FURY FACTORY: Theater and dance ensembles the from Bay Area, Afghanistan, New York, Liverpool, UK, and Los Angeles come together in the Mission for Fuel Factory 2009 to showcase a diverse array of perspectives and experiences about the concept of America. Check out the expressive acts starting at 7 p.m. at the Traveling Jewish Theater.
