Take a Spin at the California Wine Festival

The Santa Barbara celebration is one of the top and toniest sip soirées in the state.

"SUN-SPLASHED"... is a term that gets applied to lots of different Golden State events, but few happenings have earned that particular designation in the way that the California Wine Festival has, over the years. It does have a "beachside" centerpiece party, each summer, when it alights in Santa Barbara, and if setting up shop near the Pacific on a July day isn't sun-splashed, well, we're not sure what else might be. Adding a little extra sun, in spirit, is the fact that all of those grown-in-California grapes soaked in plenty of sunbeams, beams that helped turn those grapes, eventually, into liquid sunshine (with the help of soil and temperature and plenty of TLC, of course).

WHICH ALL ADDS UP TO THIS: A sunny spectacular spotlighting oodles of top-notch Golden State vinos will again alight near the Pacific Ocean for an afternoon of trying, pondering, sipping, chatting, and soaking in the sun, if the sun should be out (fingers crossed that's a big yes). OLD SPANISH NIGHTS TASTING... is up on July 19, at the beautiful De La Guerra Adobe Courtyard, while Friday is all about the Sunset Reserve & Rare Wine Tasting at Chase Palm Park Plaza at the Carousel. And on Saturday, July 21? That's when the bash gets beachy at "CWF's signature wine event."
