A Florida teen has been arrested after police say a murder-for-hire contract to kill his family was found.
Port St. Lucie police say the note, found in the 14-year-old's room, was an agreement between the teen and a friend stating that the friend would kill the boy's father, stepmother and stepbrother for $1,200.
Under questioning, police say the teen was plotting for the family members to be killed in a burglary-gone-bad scenario.
The friend told police he thought it was a joke.
The teen has been arrested and charged with solicitation to commit first-degree murder.
