For at least the second time this season, the legendary Coney Island Cyclone broke down, forcing a number of riders to climb down the wooden structure on foot Saturday afternoon.
In photographs taken by witnesses, riders are seen being escorted by workers as they made the slow climb down from high up on the open structure.
There were no reports yet of any injuries.
Luna Park in Coney Island, which manages the roller coaster, said later in the day that the ride was repaired, inspected, and running again.
The Cyclone also became stuck on the amusement park's opening day last March, forcing riders to make the same climb down.
