Poll Problems: Can Obama Bounce Back?

Obama's foreign policy approval rating has dropped to the lowest level of his presidency and his overall approval level has sunk to 41 percent, according to a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll . Thirty-seven percent of respondents approve of his handling of international relations, which is an all-time low in the survey, while 57 percent disapprove, an all-time high. The poll also reports that by a 44 percent of Americans disagree with the Obama administration’s decision to secure the release U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl in exchange for five imprisoned Taliban fighters. Thirty percent of those polled supported the decision. NBC's First Read team says Obama is getting close to that “he doesn’t have time to recover” period of the presidency. Click to read more results and analysis of the poll.
