Pope Francis was asking for prayers after three of his relatives were killed in a traffic accident in Argentina on Tuesday, NBC News reported. Vatican spokesman Father Federico Lombardi said "the pope has been informed and he is painfully sorry." According to The Associated Press, those killed included two young great-nephews of the pontiff and their mother.
