SF Giants Ready to “Get Back to Playing Our Ball”

The Giants are back on home turf, ready to take on the Game 3 of the National League Championship Series. The groggy-eyed players arrived back at AT&T Park by bus early Monday morning after a charter red-eye fresh off losing to the Philadelphia Phillies 6-1 at Citizen Bank Park Sunday.

We were the only ones there when they arrived by bus at AT&T Park. Next stop: bed. Then it's time for the pre-game workouts all over again as they prepare for the final three games-- all being played in SF. The opening pitch for Game 3 is Tuesday at 1 p.m. at AT&T Park.

But, just because they're at home, the team isn't taking a laid back approach. Manager Bruce Bochy told us this morning thay are focused on playing hard for the remainder of the series.

"There's no thinking about who has home field advantage. We're playing a good club, you know. You got to play you're best ball. It got away from us the second game. We gotta get back on track now and get back to playing our ball."

The pitching matchup for Game 3 will be Matt Cain vs. Cole Hamels.
