Deion Sanders Names 1994 49ers as Best Team He Ever Played on

In 1993, Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders recorded a career-high of seven interceptions in a season he was named to his second All-Pro team with the Atlanta Falcons and third Pro Bowl.

Fast forward to the offseason, and Sanders spurned the team that selected him with the No. 5 pick in the 1989 NFL Draft, heading out to San Francisco and signing with the 49ers.

On Saturday, Sanders answered fans' questions on Twitter with #21Questions, paying homage to his old number in the NFL. Twitter user @Pacheco_Matt asked Sanders "What was the best team you played on while you were still playing in the NFL?"

Sanders was all for that move out West as he answered with "94 49ers #21Questions." The 49ers went 13-3 in the 1994 regular season before beating the San Diego Chargers, 49-26, in the Super Bowl. Sanders snagged six interceptions in '94 and returned three for touchdowns on his way to winning the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year.

But, his time in San Francisco only lasted one season as Sanders then joined the Dallas Cowboys in 1995 and won his second Super Bowl ring in back-to-back years.
