UPDATE (2:50pm) -- The Raiders released Marcel Reece on Monday afternoon, the team announced.
"I want to thank Marcel as a player and as a person for all that he has given to the Oakland Raiders," general manager Reggie McKenzie said in a statement. "What he has meant to the organization and to me over the past few years is hard to put into words, but his actions, both on and off the field, speak louder than any words can. This was a tough decision. Not enough can be said about Marcel's commitment to his teammates and his pride in the Raiders, and we wish him and his family nothing but the best."
"Marcel was a great teammate and I appreciate him as a player on the field and as a man off the field," head coach Jack Del Rio said. "I wish him all the best moving forward."

The Raiders have reportedly parted ways with Marcel Reece.
The Silver and Black cut the fullback on Monday, according to multiple reports.
Reece was suspended for the final game of the 2015 campaign, and the first three games of this season.

Reece made the Pro Bowl for the fourth straight year, but was ruled ineligible to participate.
The 31-year old went undrafted out of Washington in 2008.
He joined the Raiders in 2009 and from 2010 through 2015, he appeared in 90 games (67 starts).
Last December, Oakland re-signed fullback Jamize Olawale to a three-year extension.
