The Sharks' roster reconstruction continued Tuesday.
San Jose reportedly signed defenseman Dalton Prout to a one-year, $800,000 contract, TVA's Renaud Lavoie reported.

Prout, 29, played in 20 games last season for the Calgary Flames. He scored two points on the year -- one goal and one assist. Prout's plus-minus of 1 was in the positive for the first time since the 2012-13 season.
Since being drafted by the Blue Jackets in the sixth round of the 2010 NHL Draft, the defenseman has played for three different franchises: Columbus, New Jersey and Calgary.
