The Sharks have avoided elimination once so far. They'll have to do it again when they face the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 6 of their best-of-seven first-round playoff series on Sunday.
San Jose lived to fight another day after defeating the Golden Knights 5-2 at home in Game 5 on Thursday, and now trails three-games-to-two heading into Sunday's must-win contest. Goaltender Martin Jones is coming off his best performance of the series thus far, and he'll be in between the pipes again for Game 6.
The Sharks' season would come to an end with a loss. A victory, however, would force a winner-take-all Game 7 back in San Jose on Tuesday.
