Report: Harden Expected to Return Before Rockets Face Warriors

It appears James Harden's return is imminent.

Barring a setback during practice on Wednesday, Harden is expected to return to game action on Thursday against Minnesota, according to ESPN's Tim MacMahon.

The Warriors face the Rockets in Houston on Saturday night.

Harden has not played since he sustained a Grade 2 strain of his right hamstring during Houston's double OT win over the Lakers on New Year's Eve.

The two-time runner-up for MVP did not play in Golden State's 124-114 win over the Rockets on Jan. 4 (Kevin Durant missed the game, too).

Houston has gone 4-3 without Harden in the lineup.

Harden is averaging 32.3 points and 9.1 assists per game this season.
