The A's announced on Monday the team has released right-handed pitcher Ryan Dull and was claimed off waivers by the Giants. San Francisco also confirmed the news.
The Giants announced Dull will head straight to Triple-A Sacramento -- a place he's all too familiar with spending each season since 2015 pitching in.
This past season, the 29-year-old boasts a 5.45 ERA pitching in the Pacific Coast League with 50 strikeouts in 39.2 innings. His recent major league numbers don't exactly jump off the page with a 12.00 ERA across nine frames during three A's stints this season.
Across five total seasons with the Green and Gold, Dull went 8-9 with four saves and a 4.08 ERA in 167 relief appearances.
