Iguodala Explains What He Learned Following Tiger Woods Around the Golf Course

Andre Iguodala turned 34 years old on Jan. 28.

In case you forgot -- the Warriors did not practice that day, so the 2015 Finals MVP flew down to San Diego.

On this week's edition of "Beyond the Arc," Warriors radio broadcaster Tim Roye asked Iguodala what he learned when he followed Tiger Woods around the course.

"The poise he has to have. The calmness he has to have. People follow him like crazy. I've seen people follow us around; people follow Steph around ... when you look at Tiger, he's just getting back. He's nowhere near where he was...

"Every step he takes is under a microscope. I was watching the 2005 Masters last night -- every Masters is on YouTube now -- I went back and watched 2005, they had the final round, the whole telecast so it was like five hours.

And they showed him on a putting green. There's like thousands of people around a putting green. He's just practicing putting. Everything is scrutinized. To thrive under that pressure -- there's no privacy.

"There's nowhere where you can just calm the brain because everyone wants a part of that."

Iguodala's love for golf runs deep.

Remember this?

"I gotta give all the credit to (former Warriors assistant coach) Pete Myers," Iguodala explained to Roye. "Once I got here, I really wanted to learn how to play ... Pete Myers taught me how to hit a draw.

"And we would just go to the range and hit balls ... he kinda got me hooked and that was all she wrote."
