Jacob Evans' Mindset: ‘If You're the Smartest Person on the Court…'

On Monday morning, the Warriors held an introductory press conference for Jacob Evans.

Some opening remarks were followed by a Q&A with members of the media.

Mark Medina of the Bay Area News Group asked Evans how he formulated his basketball IQ.

"Just growing up, I tried to learn as much as I can about the game. I feel like if you're the smartest person on the court, you're the most dangerous person," Evans said. "And then it got to a point where everyone's athletic.

"You gotta use your brain more than your physical abilities. So I just tried to learn the game -- whether it's from coaches at a camp or other guys in the NBA that I've watched play growing up. Also, watching a lot of film."

Yeah, it's safe to assume that he is going to enjoy being around Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala (and vice versa).
