Will the Giants be buyers or sellers at the MLB trade deadline?
NBC Sports Bay Area's Giants Insider Alex Pavlovic joined the MLB Trade Deadline Show Wednesday morning and noted that "nobody knows" yet whether they'll be buyers or sellers. With pitchers Maidson Bumgarner and Will Smith being two of the biggest trade chips no the market, the Giants will be taking plenty of calls about their lefthanders if they choose to sell.
Sitting with a 54-53 record, the Giants are right on the border of being a real contender in the wild-card chase and potentially falling out of the race entirely.
