Kevin Durant's return to the Warriors lineup lasted just shy of minutes.
The reigning back-to-back NBA Finals MVP left Game 5 of The Finals against the Toronto Raptors on Monday after appearing to re-injure his right leg. Durant, who had not played in a game since straining his right calf on May 8 during the second round of the NBA playoffs, needed to be helped off the Scotiabank Arena floor and back to the Warriors locker room.
Much like the Warriors fanbase, Durant's NBA peers held their collective breath after seeing the superstar go down.

Prior to his injury, Durant injected some much-needed life into the Warriors' offense. He scored 11 points -- nine of which came on a perfect 3-for-3 from 3-point range -- and was a plus-six when he left the game. The Warriors took a small lead into halftime, and they'll now have to complete a comeback from three-games-to-one in the best-of-seven series without one of the best players in the world.
