The last time Kevin Durant met with prospective teams, a nickname was berth from it.

If there is a new nickname on the horizon, it will be associated with New York City.
The Athletic's David Aldridge is reporting that if Durant holds meetings with NBA team, the conversations will happen in New York, where the two-time NBA Finals MVP has been ever since he had surgery on his right Achilles.
Aldridge is reporting that Durant hasn't decided if he even wants to meet with teams yet.

Durant reportedly declined his 2019-20 player option with the Warriors in order to become an unrestricted free agent.
Along with the Warriors, the Nets, Knicks and Clippers have been the teams most commonly linked to Durant.

Durant has a big decision to make over the next few days. The different between the money he can get from the Warriors and other teams is about $57 million.
