Steph Curry was selected to his seventh All-Star game Thursday afternoon, finishing with 5.48 million votes, and will be a starter for the Western Conference team.
Although it's hardly a surprise, Curry's bid serves as another testimonial to the stellar season the star is having. The three-time NBA champion missed the 2020 event due to injury, snapping a streak of six consecutive All-Star berths.

Now, he has a chance to start a new streak, and he took to Twitter with a video tribute to express his thanks to Dub Nation and NBA fans across the league.
Curry has been a starter each time he has been selected as an All-Star, and this year is no exception. He'll join LeBron James (Los Angeles Lakers), Kawhi Leonard (Los Angeles Clippers), Luka Doncic (Dallas Mavericks) and Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets) as the Western Conference's starting five.

Curry once again is compiling a MVP-caliber season, averaging the league's second-highest scoring with 30.0 points per game, along with 49.2 percent shooting from the field and 42.5 percent shooting from distance. Now, he'll have a chance once more to dazzle fans while playing alongside the best talent in the league.
Former Warrior Kevin Durant was named to the Eastern Conference's starting unit and will represent the Brooklyn Nets. Durant (5.56 million) and James (5.92 million) each acquired the most votes in their respective conference, and will select their reserves on Thursday, March 4 during the NBA All-Star Game Draft.
