SANTA CLARA – A picture is worth a thousand interpretations.
Or, something like that.
Shortly after the 49ers and Carolina Panthers met Sunday in Charlotte, North Carolina, a photos surfaced of an exchange involving Colin Kaepernick and Cam Newton on the field.

The image captured Kaepernick with a look of shock on his face as he and Newton had a face-to-face moment.
When asked about it on Tuesday, Kaepernick just laughed. He said the meeting with Newton was cordial.
