Claude Lemieux is back in the NHL after a 5-plus year absence.
The San Jose Sharks have recalled the four-time Stanley Cup winner from their minor league affiliate in Worcester, and he could play Tuesday night against Vancouver in their final game before the All-Star break.
Lemieux hasn't played in the NHL since 2003, but he joined the Worcester Sharks in late November in hopes of a comeback.
San Jose signed him to a two-way contract in late December, and recalled him while sending young forwards Brad Staubitz and Tom Cavanagh back to Worcester.
