Steph Curry Puts Orinda Home on Market for Nearly $4 Million

Steph Curry bought a home in Orinda for $3.1 million back in 2013.

That house is now on the market.

The 4,735 square-foot home is listed at $3.895 million, according to Caldecott Properties.

The lot size is 0.68 acres and includes five plus bedrooms and four full bathrooms.

A description:

"An incomparable Spanish hacienda rebuilt in 2008 by Mark Bohon, an award-winning local builder. The gated home sits on a tranquil lakeside parcel studded with mature oak trees and a hobby vineyard just down the road from Orinda Country Club.

This modern interpretation of a classic European architectural style blends old world craftsmanship with open California living. The exterior features classic Mediterranean characteristics like a red tiled roof, white stucco exterior with ivy clad entry, oversized transom French doors, copper gutters & downspouts and spacious tiled patios & balconies.

The gracious, bright and airy interior was designed to maximize indoor/outdoor living with French doors to the exterior from almost every room. The soaring ceilings vary throughout the home – some rooms have dramatic vaulted ceilings while others have box beamed or coved ceilings. There are hand troweled plaster walls, statement light fixtures, designer hardware and rich hickory floors.

In 2014, the current owners further improved the home. The kitchen was redesigned for the professional cook with two built-in Sub-Zero refrigerators, two Miele dishwashers, a 60” Viking professional range and a custom fabricated hood system. The floors, countertops, island and cabinetry were all replaced and three remote controlled Velux skylights were added.

The front yard was redesigned around a sleek swimming pool with spa, waterfall and shallow play area. An outdoor kitchen and dining area was created with built-in heaters, television, bar and grill. Field turf replaced a water-thirsty lawn, gardening beds were installed for the suburban farmer and a putting green was added at the rear of the home."

Curry and his family moved out of the property last November.
