Steph Curry Injury: Warriors Star ‘good' After Mild Right Foot Sprain

Dub Nation held their breath on Tuesday night when Steph Curry rolled his right ankle.

But a day later, Warriors coach Steve Kerr doesn't appear too worried about Curry's mild right foot sprain.

"He's good," Kerr told reporters in Memphis before the game against the Grizzlies.

Curry suffered the injury nearly nine minutes into the first quarter against the Pelicans, and he will sit out the regular season finale Wednesday night.

With the playoffs starting this weekend, Curry will have a few days to rest and get treatment on his right ankle.

Along with Curry, the Warriors will also hold Draymond Green, DeMarcus Cousins and Shaun Livingston out of the game against the Grizzlies.

Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson began the day as probably, but will play about 15-20 minutes against Memphis.

The injury to Curry on Tuesday didn't impact Kerr's decision to play two of his All-Stars on Wednesday.

"Our approach is we gotta stay ready, keep our conditioning but not expose ourselves to too much risk and that's a tricky thing to balance," Kerr told reporters. "But nothing has changed from last night to tonight. You just have to keep your fingers crossed."

After finishing the regular season against Memphis, the Warriors will return to Oakland and open up the playoffs against either the Thunder, Spurs or Clippers.
