Steph Curry acknowledged Monday that he and the Warriors have had conversations about a potential contract extension.
“We have conversations,” Curry told reporters. “Everything's on the table right now. Just in terms of everything I’ve talked about (regarding) being a Warrior and what the future holds. Obviously, I’m fully committed on what that is and understanding that I’ve got to do what's right for me and the team, and then having those conversations. I feel blessed to be in that position where I can say that and truly believe it.
“It’s a matter of just letting things play out the way they should.”
What would such a deal look like?
Curry is eligible for a three-year extension right now worth $156 million over three years, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks.

The Warriors star currently is on a five-year, $201 million maximum contract and has two years left on his deal. It seems like yesterday he still was on the four-year, $44 million deal that was considered the most team-friendly in all of sports.

While the Warriors currently have four maximum salaries on their current roster (Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green), there seems to be no doubt that Curry will, at some point, re-sign with the Warriors. Curry has made it well known that he wants to spend his entire career with Golden State, joining the likes of franchise icons Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan and Dirk Nowitzki among the legends who have spent their whole careers in one uniform.
Curry, 32, still should have plenty of years left in his prime. It seems a matter of "when," not "if," he signs another extension with the Warriors.
