Warriors' Steph Curry Remembers 3-pointer in Playoff Comeback Vs. Pelicans

It's one of the biggest shots in recent Warriors postseason history.

Before Golden State became champions, they had to get past the Pelicans.

The Warriors had won the first two games of their NBA playoff first-round series against New Orleans in 2015. But in Game 3, they trailed by as many as 20 points in the second half.

In the final seconds of regulation, with the Warriors trailing by three, Marreese Speights collected a loose ball in a mad scramble before finding Curry in the corner.

With several Pelicans, including Anthony Davis, lunging at him in desperation, Curry deposited a 3-pointer into the bottom of the net, sending the game into overtime.

The Warriors would ultimately prevail 123-119 in overtime, and would go on to sweep the Pelicans in four games. Golden State would then advance to the second round before eliminating the Grizzlies, Rockets and Cavaliers on their way to their first NBA championship in 40 years.
