It was billed as the "real" Western Conference finals.
After pushing the Warriors to the brink of elimination in last year's NBA playoffs, the Houston Rockets got their shot at revenge a round earlier in what many expected to be a long, brutal series.
But through two games of the Western Conference semifinals, it's been all Warriors.
The Dubs avoided a Game 1 letdown on short rest by escaping with a 104-100 win, and then thoroughly outplayed Houston in Game 2 to grab a 2-0 series lead.
The battle shifts to Houston on Saturday night for a critical Game 3 for James Harden and the Rockets.
Already facing the improbable task of winning four of the next six games against the Warriors, the Rockets know they must grab a win in Game 3 to get back in the series and have any hope of knocking off the two-time defending champions.
