Sony is set to release a set of new digital cameras that blur the line between bulky DSLRs and pocketable point-and-shoot cameras.
The NEX-5 and NEX-3 cameras both sport super-slim bodies, slimmer than many point-and-shoots. But they also hide high-end DSLR sensors inside and the ability to swap out larger lenses.
The cameras, priced at $650 and $550 respectively, may not have the specs to satisfy pros and high-end amateur photographers, but for people who are looking to have the best image quality possible without needing a separate back for their camera gear might want to give these a look when they're eventually released.
