After a 10-month delay, reports say that Apple will release its white iPhone later this month on both Verizon and AT&T.
The vanilla-colored phone will now be available in late April according to unnamed sources, Bloomberg reported. However, a post that 'Press:Here' wrote in early March said pretty much the same thing, quoting a securities analyst who stated that substandard paint and lamination had caused the delays. Could Bloomberg be talking to similar sources?
There has been some official word from Apple, but it's been vague. Bloomberg continues, "Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of marketing, indicated last month that a white model would be available soon, writing on Twitter that it would be on sale by spring."
That could mean anything from now until a June release date, but with such intense interest, sooner would be better than later -- especially for Apple's iPhone sales.
