JetBlue Has Your Ticket to Mock a Dodger Fan

Want to get away?

Southwest may not charge your bag to fly but it can still cost a pretty penny to escape to warm weather.

The no frills airline, cool enough to have DirecTV at every seat and a food pantry you can raid whenever you like, is offering discounted tickets to travel across the country.

Tickets start at $29 and the sale starts Tuesday. For Bay Area jetsetters the options are limited but the prices are still fabulous.

Just $39 will get you down to Long Beach from either Oakland or San Francisco international airports.

That's cheap enough to fly down on an off day and get over to Chavez Ravine and mock any Los Angeles Dodger fans still weeping in the stands.

Or you could take your DSLr camera and head down to Hollywood Boulevard to sna shots of Paris Hilton. Or better yet, head down to the Betty Ford Clinic and sneak a peak at LiLo and your trip will pay for itself.

Whatever reason you choose to go down south, JetBlue has an offer that makes it cheaper than driving down, which is important in these cash tight times.

Of course like any good deal, and any JetBlue sale, there are restrictions. Travel must be done Oct. 12 through Dec. 15 on a Tuesday and Wednesday and the Thanksgiving period of Nov. 23 through Nov. 30 are blacked out.
