Chris Nolan Would "Love to Do a Bond Film"

    With it's release fast approaching, the thinking-man's summer blockbuster from director Chris Nolan and starring Leonardo DiCaprio's, serves up a a few hints at what the hell the damn thing is about. (Published Wednesday, May 30, 2012)

    For the love of God -- somebody give him the job already.

    “I’ve loved the Bond films since I was a kid. For me, they’re always about the expansiveness of cinema. The first Bond films set up infinite possibilities about the world they create. I’d love to do a Bond film," director Chris Nolan told the BBC at yesterday's London premiere of "Inception."

    With it's release fast approaching, the thinking-man's summer blockbuster from director Chris Nolan and starring Leonardo DiCaprio's, serves up a a few hints at what the hell the damn thing is about. (Published Wednesday, May 30, 2012)

    The '007 franchise has been trapped inlegal limbo thanks to the financial woes at MGM, with the next film, starring Daniel Craig and to be directed by Sam Mendes, having been pronounced dead more than once.

    Saying there won't be another Bond film is just stupid, of course. Even if MGM were literally swallowed whole by the fires of hell, someone would make another starring the iconic spy.

    And if Mendes gets tired of waiting for the project to come together and Nolan isn't too busy making a third Batman or rescuing Superman, he would be the perfect choice to pick up the mantle.
