Why Do the Russians Get a Better "X-Men" Trailer?



    We were sorely disappointed by the first trailer for "X-Men: First Class." Now to add insult to injury, a far better trailer for the film has been released in Russia, despite being in a language we don't understand.

    The fine folks at The Playlist spotted this, and while they apparently liked the original U.S. version more than we did, we're all in agreement that this Russkie cut is far superior:

    "X-Men: First Class" opens June 3 - presumably we'll get the same version as the Russians.

    Director Matthew Vaughn ("Kick -Ass") goes back to the Cuban Missile Crisis and the formation of the original band of mutants assembled by Charles Xavier. Stars Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, January Jones, Kevin Bacon, Rose Byrne and about a million others.
