The star witness for the prosecution in a San Francisco murder case told the jury this week that she saw the accused gunman on a TV reality show months after the fatal shooting.
Jamal Trulove is accused of shooting and killing a man on July 23, 2007. On Thursday, the only eyewitness to testify said she watched Trulove run after the 28-year-old victim and gun him down that night. Two days later, she tentively identified Trulove from a lineup of pictures.
The eyewitness, who is under protection program now, testified that she was shocked to see Trulove on the VH1 reality show "I Love New York 2" months after after the shooting, the Chronicle reported. Trulove was going by the name "Milliown" on the show.
Police had said they couldn't find Trulove for more than a year after the killing.
