Three people were hospitalized after an elderly driver struck a pedestrian and then rammed into a home before crashing into a light pole, police said.

The driver lost control of his vehicle for an unknown reason, according to police. The crash was reported at about 2:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon near Golden Gate Park on the corner of 46th Avenue and Fulton Street, police said.

The pedestrian, a man in his 20s, the driver and his wife, who was a passenger, were all transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.

A mother was sitting in the living room with her infant daughter when the car slammed into home. The two were not injured.
