That gentleman bagging your groceries in San Francisco this afternoon may look familiar.
San Francisco Giants players Aaron Rowand, Jeremy Affeldt and team president Larry Baer will join Major League Baseball Hall of Fame manager Tommy Lasorda at a Safeway store in the city's Potrero Hill neighborhood at noon for the store's annual fundraiser for prostate cancer research.
Also participating will be Prostate Cancer Foundation CEO Dr. Jonathan Simons, University of California, San Francisco Medical Center Chief of Urologic Oncology Dr. Peter Carroll and Prostate Cancer Foundation founder Michael Milken.
The "Docs and Jocks for Cancer Research Celebrity Bagging" event takes place at noon at the Safeway at 16th Street and Potrero Avenue.
