A birdwatcher found the body of a missing Santa Rosa man Friday.

The body of a missing Santa Rosa man who fell off a boat two weeks ago was found in the bay Friday.

A birdwatcher spotted the body of 28-year-old Casey Speed in the wetlands near Harbor Point Way in Strawberry, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Speed fell overboard from his single-mast sailboat on Dec. 10 around 8:30 p.m. The boat was anchored in Richardson Bay near Tiburon.

His wife, who was also on the boat with him, said her husband was intoxicated when he fell and was not wearing a life jacket.

The Coast Guard does not suspect foul play and an autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
