Monday is off to a foggy start, with Bay Area road visibility as thick as pea soup and flight delays out of San Francisco INternational Airport averaging about 90 minutes.

There is less than 1/4 mile visibility on the roads from Napa to San Jose.

The National Weather Service has issued a dear fog advisory for the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay Bridge, the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge, and the Benicia-Martinez and San Mateo bridges. 

The patchy dense fog should lift by about 10 a.m., and then the sun should peek through later, with Bay Area highs reaching about 66 degrees.
