Former Raiders QB Todd Marinovich Arrested, Found Naked with Drugs: Reports

Former Raiders quarterback Todd Marinovich was reportedly arrested in Irvine Friday night after being found naked in someone else's backyard with drugs, police said Monday, according to multiple reports.

Marinovich, 47, was found with a brown paper bag containing marijuana, meth and his ID while being naked after cops received a call about a man on the Ventura Spur walking trail Friday night. He was then found in a nearby backyard when cops arrived.

For his conduct, Marinovich was cited with trespassing, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, Irvine police Commander Mike Hallinan said Monday, according to The Orange County Register. Marinovich has since been released.

The Los Angeles Raiders selected Marinovich with the 24th overall pick in the 1991 NFL Draft after playing two years at USC. His NFL career only lasted two seasons with the Raiders.

Marinovich suited up in eight games for the Raiders, tossing eight touchdowns and nine interceptions. He was released by the Raiders following the 1992 season after repeated drug use.

The Orange County Register was first to report Marinovich's arrest, while TMZ Sports was first to include he was found with meth on him.
