Hundreds of Kaiser nurses across the Bay Area are picketing Thursday to highlight a need for safe staffing amid worsening patient care conditions.
The rallies are also meant to urge Kaiser Permanente officials to invest some of its $2.5 billion profits in "nurses, patients and our communities," the group said in a statement.
The Informational Pickets, as they are called, are staggered through the day and can be expected in the South, East and North bays, San Francisco, Sacramento and Central California.
