Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt in U.S. 101 San Jose Collision

A dangerous chain of events unfolded on a San Jose highway early Sunday morning, as a motorcyclist was seriously injured after crashing into a stopped car.

The California Highway Patrol said at around 2 a.m., a disabled car was pulled over on southbound U.S. 101 near Old Oakland Road. But the man on the motorcycle did not see the stopped car in time and crashed into it.

Then, another car hit the median as that driver tried to avoid the crash.

The motorcyclist was seriously hurt and rushed to the hospital.

None of the other people involved were seriously injured.
