A mountain lion was seen today in Woodside, San Mateo County emergency officials said.
The cat was spotted in the vicinity of the Razor Back Ridge Trail in the Windy Hills Open Space Preserve at about 11:30 a.m., emergency officials said.
Mountain lion sightings are common in San Mateo County and residents who encounter them are advised not to approach.
