When the San Francisco 49ers open their new stadium in Santa Clara in 2014, they'll do so at Marie P DeBartolo Way.

A spokesman for the city of Santa Clara confirmed there will be two minor street-name changes in preparation for the stadium's opening.

Centennial Boulevard, which has long been home to the 49ers facility, will change to honor DeBartolo, the late grandmother of current Chief Executive Officer Jed York. The stadium's official Santa Clara address will be 4900 Marie P DeBartolo Way.

Bill Walsh, who coached the 49ers to three Super Bowl championships in the 1980's, will also have a street name after him -- just south of the stadium.
