A man and a woman were found dead at a San Jose shopping center Saturday in an apparent murder-suicide, a police spokesman said.

A baby was also found inside a car police believe belonged to one of the victims. The female baby was unharmed and was taken into protective custody by Santa Clara County Child Protective Services, police said.

Officers were called to a strip mall in the 1000 block of East Capitol Expressway at 9:32 a.m. after a shooting was reported, according to reports.

The man and  woman, each with at least one gunshot wound, were pronounced dead at the scene, according to reports.

Police said the two people were of Asian origin and it appears to have been a relationship gone bad.

The two people came to the shopping center in different cars, according to police.
