San Francisco-based company, Salesforce.com has purchased Super Bowl airtime bookending the Black Eyed Peas' halftime performance.

The spots aired before and after halftime featured animated characters called called "Baby Peas," created by will.i.am of the Peas.

The company and will.i.am are promoting Salesforce's Chatter app, and even used the app itself during collaboration of the commercial.

Marc Benioff, CEO of Salesforce.com says the ads feature "Chatty, the magical cloud," an animated version of the Chatter app.

Benioff declined to comment on how much the company spent on ads, but says, “they’re big numbers.”
