A well-known painting has arrived at the De Young Museum in San Francisco.
Johannes Vermeer's The Girl With a Pearl Earring is one of 34 other paintings on laon at the museum from the Royal Picture Gallery Mooritz-House in the Hague.
The painting is often referred to as the "Dutch Mona Lisa" and has inspired many theories, a novel and a movie.
The displays opens Saturday and will remain open until June 2.
