Seven Injured in Five Separate Oakland Shootings

Seven people were injured when five separate shootings occurred in Oakland Friday evening and early Saturday morning, according to police.

The first shooting occurred around 7 p.m. in the 2700 of MacArthur Boulevard, police said.

Two male victims were found suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims were taken to a hospital and were in stable condition as of this morning, according to police.

No suspects were identified in the shooting and no arrest was made.

Around 12:30 a.m., officers then responded to a report of a shooting in the 2100 block of International Boulevard, police said.

Officers found one male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a hospital. He was reported to be in stable condition, according to police.

A short while later, around 1:17 a.m., officers responded to another report of a shooting in the 1700 block of Pleasant Valley Road, police said.

There, officers found a female victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso. The victim was taken to a hospital, according to police.

Information about their condition was not immediately available.

Two suspects were identified but no arrest was made.

Around 3 a.m., another shooting occurred in the 1400 block of East 14th Street, police said.

There, one male victim was found suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was reported to be in stable condition, according to police.

No suspect was identified and no arrest was made.

At 3:27 a.m., officers again responded to a shooting, this time in the 1300 block of Webster Street, police said.

There, officers found a male victim and a female victim suffering from injuries. One of the victims suffered a gunshot wound to the groin while another suffered a minor laceration, according to police.

Both victims were hospitalized.

Officers arrested one person in connection with the shooting, however their identity was not released.
