Several Injured in School Bus vs. Minivan Crash in San Jose

None of the injuries was considered life-threatening

The California Highway Patrol is investigating a crash involving a school bus and a minivan in San Jose.

The crash was reported at Moorpark and South Cypress avenues at 8:07 a.m.

The intersection is near Interstate Highway 280 and San Tomas Expressway.

There was severe front end damage to both vehicles.

Four special needs students were on board the school bus, but there were no serious injuries, according to the CHP.

A family was in the minivan, including a pregant woman who was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital. Her condition was not immediately known, but her injuries were not considered life threatening.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
